- Tuesday August 6th, 4:30pm-7:30pm @ Green Street Park, 17 Sherwin St Waterville, ME
- We are looking for any and all sizes in Girls/Womens & Boys/Men's new sneakers or casual shoes. Boxes are not needed, just not pre worn.
- We will have people available to shop for shoes should anyone feel lead to make a monetary donation to the church instead. Please make all donations with a notation of "National Night Out"
- Any and all donations will need to be made by Sunday July 28th, please drop shoes off at the church on Sundays or call ahead during the week to ensure access to the HUB.
- This mission is a call to us as Christians to integrate ourselves into our local community, so please, if you are unable to donate financially, pray about being participants in this community event as families or individuals. There will be many groups and vendors attending and hosting booths in the park. We would love for you all to come out and fellowship.
- This night is about so much more than just shoes, we are using shoes as an opening to gain the trust of families that we care and are there to listen, not just try to fix their circumstances. A trust that allows us to speak truth into their lives in a hope they will make the life changing decision to accept Jesus Christ into their lives as Lord and Savior!
- Please help us build a safer and stronger community, by shining the light of Jesus that lives inside each one of us. Triumphing over a culture that isolates us from each other and wanders in the darkness.
- But seek the peace of the city where I have sent you in exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its peace you will find your peace. Jeramiah 29:7
